# API, possible to request shorter "expirationsec" then 8h?

When doing connection to service via API the default expiration time for a http proxy is 8h. Would it be possible to request a shorter expiration time than that during the connection request? Today the request has deviceaddress, wait and hostip as “variables” in the API call.

You can’t adjust the timeout, but you can call another API to terminate the connection when you are done. See:
