remote.it software comprises two parts:
- daemon package to go on the target device, which creates remote.it Services
- client software to access remote.it Services
The remote.it Desktop application combine these into a single installer for Windows, MacOS, and Linux Desktop operating systems.

For embedded systems, we offer:
- a streamlined installer for Raspberry Pi and other Linux systems, which gets you started quickly
- the Device Package, which you configure using the remoteit Desktop application
- a CLI package, which is configured by running commands on the device where it is installed
