We are able to remote into an android tablet.
WE are able to run apps with no problems.
BUt whenever the app switches to a modal screen and focus on an input field.
THe screen turns black.
Monitoring the logged in device we can still see mouse movement.
ON the Web client the screen is black.
We are investigating the issue and will post an update once we have something to report.
We concluded and hope that updates will fix.
All modal windows that are SECURED such as PIN entry or SENTATIVE data are blacked out.
Android obviously have this window element option. Remote.it emulator is honoring the option.
Many other emulators such as BLUESTACK , LD, and VMOS do not blackout this modal.
Please FIX….this is pertinent when monitoring financials apps which have many secured MODAL.

For Android 15 devices, you may encounter a black screen when sensitive information appears on the screen, such as password input areas. Once the device user navigates away from these screens, the viewer should continue to show the screen. Consult your application developer about where these types of screens appear. You may need to enable “disable screen share protection” in Developer Options to use Remote Viewer for certain applications.

We saw no progress or fixes
So we trying to find new solutions
VNC server seems to have same issues
But the blackscreen problems might be
A client side fix.
This is an Android 15 security feature where the system will automatically protect windows containing passwords from appearing in a screen recording or casting.
There are workarounds to set some security settings on the device, but that is not advisable.
