Agent not reachable Problem

I’m unable to add or start any network to play with my family because it keeps saying agent not reachable please run command prompt and i did. i installed the new agent and tried to start a device network again and still it says agent not reachable run command prompt everytime! Please help ASAP

I also received your support ticket on this. We have a bug in Desktop version 3.15.4 and CLI version 3.0.17 which is causing this issue. This should be resolved in the upcoming release expected out within the next week.

In the meantime you can use OR
to resolve your desktop do the following (I am assuming you are on a Windows computer based on your earlier ticket):

  1. Quit the Desktop app
  2. Open Command Prompt as an Administrator:
    Press the Windows Start button at the bottom left.
    Type in “Command Prompt”
    Right click on Command Prompt and click “Run as administrator”.
    Click Yes if the Windows 10 User Account Control prompt is displayed.
    The Command Prompt should appear
  3. Run the following commands
    remoteit agent uninstall
    taskkill /f /im remoteit.exe
    Repeat the taskkill command until there is no process found
  4. Restart the Desktop App (follow the prompt to install the system agent)

You will need to re-register your Windows computer if it was set up to accept connections AND you will need to restart any existing connections you had (they may get assigned new ports).
