I don’t know why, but people disconnect randomly from a 2 second to 1 hour span of time. I have 4 people playing on the server currently and I have allocated 8 gb of ram to it. I am also on ethernet with above average internet speed.
My one friend gets disconnected every 5 minutes but my friend disconnects seemingly randomly from 1 minute to 50ish minutes.
Sorry for the problem with Minecraft. Several people are reporting this. We are looking into it.
As an update on this topic. Any remaining Minecraft connection issues where the connection seems laggy or suddenly disconnects are either related to the network itself and the ability to handle traffic (i.e. cellular or Starlink which has limited bandwidth) or the CPU/memory issues on the host computer itself. If you think you have CPU/memory issues, please refer to the Minecraft forum for configuration or host hardware changes.
