After installing the Remote.it desktop app and attempting to log in, an “Authentication failure” error appears, preventing login.
Symptoms
・When entering the correct username and password into the application and clicking the “SIGN IN” button, the dashboard briefly appears but then reverts to the attached screen.
・The username and password are confirmed to be correct. Entering an incorrect password displays a “Password is incorrect” message and does not show the dashboard.
Therefore, I believe this is not an issue caused by incorrect username or password.
・Login works normally on the web version, and the dashboard displays.
However, the web login does not successfully connect to the “machine I want to operate,” so I am trying the desktop app.
The app version is “v3.41.0”, installed by running “Remote.It-Installer
